We all have personal barriers to the adventures we want to have, but what happens if the adventure you want to have means having to pack out an entire moose out alone? Do you go for it or come up with an excuse not to go? If you’re Jeff Lusk, you just pony up and go for it. You take one step at a time and enjoy whatever the adventure throws at you.

On this episode, I talk with Jeff Lusk about a solo moose hunt he went on this past hunting season. While it’s always fun to recap an interesting hunt, it’s even more fun learning about the struggles involved in any such adventure. What Jeff learned on his hunt can directly apply to your adventures even if you’re not into hunting. Jeff was alone, battling the cold, the mental debates in his head of whether or not he should be there, and the physical toll that packing out a moose alone comes with.

At the end of the day, he did it and he can now take what he learned forward on future adventures. That’s what it’s all about right? Learning and pushing yourself each time you go out so you can continue to grow as a person.

Please enjoy this episode with Jeff Lusk. I have no doubt you’ll get some good nuggets of wisdom from it!
