With the current state of events in the world of the recent death of Mr. George Floyd, protest for black lives matter, covid-19, and tensions high we will examine the significance of reflection in our lives to better understand Cultural Awareness. In  order to have conversations about race, culture and express ourselves we must reflect on our own experiences and know where we came from to move forward. 

Dr. James-Etta is an Educator and Consultant. She leads her own consulting agency that offers professional development sessions that are grounded in ideas related to critical thinking and aim to advance social change and equity through self-reflection to examine bias and increase awareness. Dr. James-Etta Consulting, LLC offers virtual workshops, automated webinars, consulting, training and speaking. She holds an Ed.D. in Higher Education & Adult Learning; MEd in Adult & Continuing Education; BA in Business Management; and AA in Information Technology.
