It was a staging post in his love of telling stories and finding innovative and eye catching ways to do that. He's now a hugely well respected and successful director of musical theatre and film.

Noted too for being a tour de force in the work of the British Theatre Academy, Dean is all about making sure young people get a chance to express themselves artistically and that live theatre isn't out of anyone's reach.
