Has this ever happened to you? You discover something amazing and excitedly tell someone about it. Upon hearing it, they aren't nearly as enthusiastic as you'd hoped, leaving you wondering how anyone could possibly not see what you're seeing.

A life of disciple making requires sacrifice. So it makes sense that people wouldn't be interested. Why is it so difficult to inspire and train others to become disciple makers? Today's CDM Podcast answers just that.

Mobilization is similar to the Parable of the Soil. Some aren't interested, some initially click but quickly fade, others get distracted by life. There are a million reasons why someone wouldn't want to be inconvenienced, make sacrifices, put in hard daily work of obedience, or go against popular opinion. But the Great Commission isn't optional. We're all called to be involved.

In the "Part 2" episode, we'll discuss how to overcome this and actually prepare people for disciple making.
