In this episode, CGL partner Jenny Gumer joins us to discuss ways to balance urgent work with important life events - so you get the best of both worlds.

Since life is always changing and the things around us are always evolving, balance is a work in progress. What is balanced for us at one point may not be balanced at a different point, and so you have to find what works for you at any given point in your life.

A large element of this is being mindful of your relationship with work. This is key if you don’t want to end up compromising things in your personal life. At CGL, we take pride in creating a workspace that allows our employees the autonomy to do that.

It’s essential that we all make an effort to invest in ourselves – and that includes taking some time off, doing things to keep you healthy and stress-free, and making your life full and rich, whatever that means for you.

In this episode, you will hear:

  • How to recalibrate to achieve better balance
  • Finding clarity and peace of mind through meditation
  • Ensuring proactive communication with your clients
  • Blocking time off to re-energize yourself
  • Setting daily reminders for inspiration and motivation
  • Intentionally working in movement through your day
  • The concept of taking time off
  • Jenny’s book recommendations
