Many startups see venture capital financing as a sexy way to raise funds and it has become more available in recent years. In fact, last year was a record year for VC investment.

VC or venture capital is a type of financing that relies on private investors who invest funds into a startup in exchange for equity. This is attractive to some startups because it is available at the company's early stages before the company is profitable. While VC financing comes with a host of advantages, it’s also not without its drawbacks.

In this episode, we cover some common legal issues that founders run into when it comes to VC funding, as well as some tips and tricks when seeking VC investment.

In this episode, you will hear:

  • What is VC financing?
  • The pros and cons of VC financing
  • Legal issues and considerations for VC financing
  • Tips for VC funding success
