Skipping ahead a little from last week, in Genesis 14, Abraham rescues Lot from Chedorlaomer, King of the Elamites, after a battle between himself and several other kings from Mesopotamia. Elam, located in present day western Iran, was touched on several episodes ago during the many parts on Sumer. This episode provides that background and begins the early history of the Elamites. Next week, I will wrap up the Elamites.
