This week, I sat down solo to discuss what I feel is a seriously important message we need to understand before going through any compositional changes. You may have heard the phrase: "We can't fire a cannon from a canoe" - meaning in order to see any good results in term of body compositional changes (fat loss/ building muscle) we first need to lay the foundations for a good baseline level of health. If you're trying to drop body fat or build muscle effectively but you're only getting 5 hours of sleep a night, you're beyond stressed and don't know how to manage it, maybe you've got relatively high blood pressure, your ability to recover is sub par, your relationship with food could be improved or you have a slight injury - It's going to make the process of building muscle/ dropping body fat near impossible.



In this week's episode, I discuss why it's so important to improve ones overall health to a solid baseline prior to undergoing any compositional push, how to go about doing it, and what to expect as a result!
