Australian stocks drifted 0.13% higher to end the week, helped by a reversal in bond yields overnight. Most of the previous session’s losses were recovered thanks to big gains in information technology, consumer discretionary and telecommunications. Financials and materials both closed lower, the latter impacted by acute weakness in base and precious metal prices overnight.
