Ian Lau, Executive Director of Commontown - a podcast by Christine McDannell

Commontown was originally created as an in-house venture of a Korean construction company at the start of 2017 in Seoul. Their current footprint in Seoul is around 400 beds. Their Singapore entity was incorporated at the end of 2018, as the HQ for international expansion.

They welcomed our first members in Singapore in April 2019. Footprint is still small but growing at over nearly 40 beds. They are currently exploring projects in other Southeast-Asian countries including Indonesia, Malaysia and Thailand.
