James Byron Dean (1931 – 1955) was an American actor from Indiana. He is remembered as a cultural icon of teenage disillusionment and social estrangement. He purchased a 1955 Porsche 550 Spyder which he called "Little Bastard". A week prior to crashing his Spyder in which he died, he was told if he drove that car, he'd be found dead in it within a week. Was this the beginning of "the curse"?
