This episode is for HR leaders that want to set bold goals for 2023. I talk about how I want to make a positive impact by disrupting the status quo in corporate america. I want to reposition conversations around culture and actually create spaces where marginalized people feel like they belong and they can thrive. This is a huge task. But we must be the change we wish to see in the world, and I’m doing my part as a HR/DEI leader.
My rose for this week is all about positivity and amazing-ness in my circle of friends. I celebrated my best friend’s birthday in Atlanta this past weekend, and we indulged at the cutest, Black-owned wellness space. Check it out if you’re in the ATL area. It’s a lovely space for a bachelorette party!
This week, I’m reading Bet on Black by the incredible Eboni K. Williams. This call to action to Black folks is something we all need to consider in our daily lives. I’m a couple chapters in and I’m loving it.
