— A retrospective imaging study of 749 COVID-19 patients found that among the 21% who developed neurological symptoms, 44% exhibited abnormalities on brain MRI such as cortical signal abnormalities, cortical diffusion restriction, and leptomeningeal enhancement.


— A study of nasopharyngeal swabs, sputum, and stool samples in 49 patients with COVID-19 found viral persistence, measured from symptom onset, to range between 15.6 days in mild cases to 49.4 days in severe cases.


— A study of over 1,000 COVID-19 patients found that those who received hydroxychloroquine were more ill at baseline and there was no significant association between hydroxychloroquine administration and respiratory failure.
