At the recent Idaho Cutting Horse Association Spring LAE & Weekend Show, cutting horse hall of fame trainer, Tim Smith, got on the microphone to announce something historic had just occurred - California trainer, Monty Buntin had just crossed over the NCHA One Million Dollar Earnings mark. Although a million is always significant, Monty did it at the very young age of 27 with all his earnings being won in the open division.

Today on Episode 7 of the podcast we talk Monty's career, including major milestones like making the Open Finals at 21, and winning the Limited Open Derby the following year, on the stallion - High Brow Jackson.
