Although he had a BS in Math, MS in Financial Engineering and 2.5 years of work experience, it was still very difficult to obtain in person interviews and job offers. After another unsuccessful phone interview, he was struck with the idea . . . what if there were a recruiting agency for HBCU grads/students??! In August 2019, Plattinum Agency was incorporated in Philadelphia, PA before launching officially in January 2021.

Invest in HBCU graduates and students’ futures by providing skills training and mentorship to empower them for the workforce. The central goal of the agency is to increase diversity and retention among Black men and women in professional spaces.
