Valia is a dental hygienist from Massachusetts and her goal is to spread smiles!! When she's not busy polishing teeth, she's creating designs that celebrate her passion for oral health with her brand, Gold Tooth Designs.

After graduating from the University of New England in 2018, Valia started working full time as a RDH in a private practice. She then got her Master’s in Public Health from Southern New Hampshire University in March 2020, where she focused her studies on preventive oral health and creating better access to care home bound patients, specifically the elderly.

When COVID hit, she found herself unable to find work and she needed something to occupy her time. That's when Gold Tooth Designs was born! She created several stickers for fun and they sold out in under 2 hours! So, she started drawing more until she had enough designs to create a separate Instagram page (@goldtoothdesigns) and she opened an Etsy shop! In just over a year, her shop and brand have grown exponentially, even though she still draws, produces, and packages orders from a small corner of her living room.
