"You are no longer limited to the human form"- Robin Farmanfarmaian

Robin Farmanfarmaian is a personal hero of mine. She told me in this interview that even after she was misdiagnosed at the age of 16, went through numerous hospitalizations and surgeries, is missing three organs, and wakes up in pain most days, she still has boundless energy to get more done in a day than I do in a week and bring.

Case in point: Robin is the author of the new book, The Patient as CEO, and has spoken on technology and medicine at many conferences, including Exponential Medicine, Singularity University, Connected Health Symposium, Boston Scientific, Differential Medicine, Medscape CME Videos, Burrill Personalized Medicine, LSA Innovator Summit, Wharton, and the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University, among others. She is Adjunct Faculty for Singularity University and a contributing writer to Wired, Forbes, Huffington Post, MedGadget, Beckerâ€s Hospital, Fierce HealthIT, and has been published in a variety of other online publications.

Damn that is an impressive range of work! Today we are going to learn all about some of Robin's favorite new technologies including 3D printing, artificial intelligence, crowdsourcing, remote consultations, nanotechnology, stem cells, and robotics to name a few.
