When Xbox game pass first arrived on the scene I was very hesitant because of it. I thought wholeheartedly that this was a passing trend just like Xbox's previous experiments with new technology, I.E. Hololens. However, unlike Hololens I gave it a try and fell in love instantly. Getting to play hundreds of games for the price of Netflix was a brilliant idea. Especially unlike PlayStation, I didn't have to stream the game and deal with latency issues.

The best part of all is the fact that you can find treasure troves in the mix. Mainly in the indie game scene! Over the last year and a half of owning Xbox game pass, I have played countless amount of indie games. Even buying some that I fell in love with. Games like Portal Knights from 505 games, Guacamelee! from DrinkBox Studios, and even Totally Reliable Delivery Service from tinyBuild. Without Xbox game pass I don't think I would have ever played any of these games. I haven't ever been a fan of wacky or physics-based games until now.
