The crash course in women's athletics continues this week as we chat with Jess Strom, head basketball coach at California University of Pennsylvania. In her sixth season as head coach Strom has led the Vulcans to a 109-35 record, including the 2015 NCAA National Championship. It also doesn't hurt that Jess and I have something in common...we both played at Penn State. While playing for the Lady Lions Jess was a three-time All-Big Ten selection and finished her career as one of only four players to register 1,000 points and 750 assists in a career.
