Psalm 107:1-3 (NLT) Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good! His faithful love endures forever. 2 Has the Lord redeemed you? Then speak out! Tell others he has redeemed you from your enemies. 3 For he has gathered the exiles from many lands, from east and west, from north and south.

"The foremost quality of a trusting disciple is gratefulness. gratitude arise from the lived perception, evaluation, and acceptance of all of life as grace-as an underserved and unheard gift from the Father's hand. Such recognition is itself the work of grace, and acceptance of the gift is implicitly an acknowledgement of the Giver."

Brennan Manning, Ruthless Trust

On this day as you reflect on the things you have to be thankful for, focus on God's goodness and faithfulness in redeeming your life. This word redeeming means saving or bringing goodness to the numerous perplexing circumstances of our lives. Be mindful of where you could be, but because of the goodness, grace and mercy of God, acknowledge where you are. If you recognize God's hand in your life, make a point to tell someone today of this help.

Psalm 96:3 (ESV) Declare his glory among the nations, his marvelous works among all the peoples!

Blessings

David
