Psalm 107:23-32 (NLT) Some went off to sea in ships, plying the trade routes of the world. 24 They, too, observed the Lord’s power in action, his impressive works on the deepest seas. 25 He spoke, and the winds rose, stirring up the waves. 26 Their ships were tossed to the heavens and plunged again to the depths; the sailors cringed in terror. 27 They reeled and staggered like drunkards and were at their wits’ end. 28 “Lord, help!” they cried in their trouble, and he saved them from their distress. 29 He calmed the storm to a whisper and stilled the waves. 30 What a blessing was that stillness as he brought them safely into harbor! 31 Let them praise the Lord for his great love and for the wonderful things he has done for them. 32 Let them exalt him publicly before the congregation and before the leaders of the nation.

“I don't go looking for trouble. Trouble usually finds me.”
―
J.K. Rowling,

Many times we do foolish things that bring us trouble and causes great perplexity in our lives, but more often than not, trouble comes as a normal part of living and walking out our lives. If you have to interact with people, there will be conflict, if you have a home or a car or any type of possession, then those things will malfunction or age and cause you trouble. Everyday life has a way of pushing us to our wits end. The struggle of finance, health, children and relationships will bring you to moments and periods of great perplexity.

Can you remember those times in your life. Those times when trouble was all you could see and times when your heart is weighed down with great care. But if you are reading this today, then it is a testimony to the grace of God that brought through those times. Be thankful today for God's help in those times and tell someone about what all God has done for you.
