Psalm 107:4-9 (NLT)  Some wandered in the wilderness, lost and homeless. 5 Hungry and thirsty, they nearly died. 6 “Lord, help!” they cried in their trouble, and he rescued them from their distress. 7 He led them straight to safety, to a city where they could live. 8 Let them praise the Lord for his great love and for the wonderful things he has done for them. 9 For he satisfies the thirsty and fills the hungry with good things.

 On this day reflect on the times you have lost your way. The times when you felt there was no way out, no way forward and no way back. Think about the times when you can remember being puzzled, wore out and confused. Then remember and rejoice that God did not leave you there, but rather sustained your life and lead you forward. Be thankful today for just such times, and for God's deliverance during those times.
