Nehemiah 8:10 (NLT) And Nehemiah continued, “Go and celebrate with a feast of rich foods and sweet drinks, and share gifts of food with people who have nothing prepared. This is a sacred day before our Lord. Don’t be dejected and sad, for the joy of the Lord is your strength!”

He was mastered by the sheer surging of life, the tidal wave of being, the perfect joy of each separate muscle, joint, and sinew in that it was everything that was not death, that it was aglow and rampant, expressing itself in movement, flying exultantly under the stars.”

Once we are reconnected to God's presence, it is no wonder that we would feel alive, that every part of our being would feel as though it had been born again. The joy of the Lord brings strength to our weaknesses, His joy bring strength to our day to day lives. Face each day with new strength!

Consider this verse....

Isaiah 40:28–31 (NLT)Have you never heard? Have you never understood? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of all the earth. He never grows weak or weary. No one can measure the depths of his understanding. 29 He gives power to the weak and strength to the powerless. 30 Even youths will become weak and tired, and young men will fall in exhaustion. 31 But those who trust in the Lord will find new strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint.

Today remind yourself that the joy of the Lord is your strength... and that this joy is the result of making room and receiving Christ into your life.

Just Be

David
