Luke 2:6–7 (NKJV) So it was, that while they were there, the days were completed for her to be delivered. 7 And she brought forth her firstborn Son, and wrapped Him in swaddling cloths, and laid Him in a manger, because there was no room for them in the inn.

“Christmas is built upon a beautiful and intentional paradox; that the birth of the homeless should be celebrated in every home.”

Consider the impact of this text.... The God of this universe, the creator of everything, came to the world and had no place to be born...

John writes about this.....

John 1:10–11 (NLT) He came into the very world he created, but the world didn’t recognize him. 11 He came to his own people, and even they rejected him.

The implications of such a situation are astounding. At first glance, what kind of a creator would he be, how powerless must this creator be to not be able to provide for his own self a room in which to be born. But WOW a deeper look at this story reveals an astounding message. The one who loves all, can do all, heal all, save all is rejected by all. I believe the story is such just to show the secret to accessing all this creator has to provide, is by simply making room for Him in your life.

Carefully consider your life and then contemplate the reality that the giver of your life, the one who sustains your life, the one who desires to come to your life and provide salvation to the whole of our situation is looking for a chance and opportunity to find room in your life.

Revelation 3:20 (NLT) “Look! I stand at the door and knock. If you hear my voice and open the door, I will come in, and we will share a meal together as friends.

Just Be
