Joe Termini, owner of Termini Brothers Bakery, a local staple here in Philadelphia, joins the Dom Giordano Program to discuss a growing hiring shortage that his industry faces. Termini explains that his brand places utmost importance on customer service, and due lack of new hires, the morale of his employees and the customer service he hopes to promote has taken a hit. Termini tells of the situation that’s led him to only staff around 25 employees when he should be working with 50-60, telling that he hopes to offer an incredible work environment that allows workers to join a family and begin a career. Termini says he hopes the American dream of improving oneself makes a return, as it seems that many have become complacent in accepting whatever stipend the government chooses to dole out.
