Mark Houck Joins After Huge Announcement of Congressional Run - a podcast by Radio.com

Full Hour | Today, Dom led off the Dom Giordano Program by telling about big local news announced yesterday, telling that pro-life activist who made national headlines after being unfairly raided by the FBI will be running against Brian Fitzpatrick in the Republican Primary for Congress. Dom breaks down what this means for the region, and strategizes how he sees things shaking out. Dom notes that Houck’s stance on abortion is very similar to Doug Mastriano, which Dom feels contributed heavily to Mastriano’s gubernatorial loss. Then, Dom plays back some of yesterday’s interview with actor Kirk Cameron, who’s facing off against the American Librarians Association, who are looking to prevent him from holding events at local libraries.

Then, Dom welcomes in the aforementioned Congressional candidate Mark Houck to discuss why he’s chosen to run for office against incumbent Republican Brian Fitzpatrick. Houck explains that after discussing the proposition with his family, he and the rest of his came to a family decision that he needs to do this after all the turmoil they’ve faced after an FBI raid that was later proven unnecessary. Then, Houck tells us what issues he plans to use as the cornerstones of his campaign, with Houck explaining why his faith weighs heavily on his priorities and telling how he hopes to use his office to prevent what happened to him from happening to others.  Then, Dom delves into the issue of Ukraine, then moves into the topic of abortion, with Houck explaining how he thinks he can win with his no exceptions stance on the issue.
