As broadcast May 13, 2021 with extra beats for the podcast head nodders.  We start off tonight dedicating the first song to one of our favorite people in Gwangju who'd rather remain anonymous celebrating her birthday, and we dedicated our first hour to "Jocelyn."  More importantly, we announced our listener requests theme for Pride Month coming up, which should be a treat!  We had lots of very recent tunes for our Sampled funk & soul hour, notably from The Bamboos with Durand Jones along with Kelly Finnigan, The Gold Setting, and Thundercat amongst a smattering of reissues & older tunes.  For our AMPED feature, we had a lot to get through, most notably a brilliant tune in basic Korean by The Bruce Lee Band, along with cuts from The Black Keys, Frank Turner, and Bowling for Soup to run through.  See you in two weeks!
