As broadcast September 10, 2021 with plenty of extra sauce for your delicious podcast sammiches.  Tonight we welcome a man that in and of himself is an institution here in the Gwangju community.  The First Alleyway was started in 2009 by the dearly departed Mike Simning, which Tim has been running for the last 6 years.  Unfortunately, the fantastic place with a taste of home for many expats here (and not to mention the best damned pizza in the entire country) closed on August 28.  Tim was so kind to join us and share some of his firsts in Korea & life along with some memory snippets from his years running The Alleyway.  From his wife discovering him in a corset to little Tim receiving a KISS record from his god-like 18 year-old brother, this is a fun look into the man that's been feeding the community all these years.
