As broadcast April 27, 2022 with plenty of extra kottu roti for your podcast serving.  Tonight we head to a country that's had a lot of civil strife and civil war over the years but is a beautiful place with even more remarkable people.  Whether elsewhere or still in Sri Lanka, the many people of the island are amazingly resilient and very talented, especially in the music realm.  We explored some of the smaller artists on the rise presently along with some old school heads during our two hour expedition, along with some of the artists making it big in Europe right now who faced A LOT to get to stardom.  As usual, our travel companion Dunia Aljawad's chimes during the trip in hour two alone make the trip more than worth it.
