Hard Boiled (辣手神探) and the struggle of the Asian American Male in Film with Sean's Dad - a podcast by Sean Niu

This week we use Hard Boiled to contrast the hard, masculine action heros portrayed by Chow Yun-Fat and Tony Leung with the limited roles given to Asian-American actors and how it affects our identity. We also introduce a new segment: "Sean's Sports Analogy Corner" where we compare Tequila and Tony to Shaq and Kobe. Finally, Sean's Dad joins us to talk about his favorite actors growing up and his experiences as an Asian man in the States.
