On this episode, we spoke with social influencer Kelsey Logan, who is the Director of Clinic Operations at the Ohio Green Team, which is a coalition of local physicians who are pioneering the medical cannabis industry in Ohio. In this interview, we discussed the mission of the Ohio Green Team, and herself, to solve the opioid crisis in Ohio through the healing power of medicinal cannabis as an alternative medicine for pain, PTSD, and a host of other ailments. Kelsey candidly discussed how bad the opioid crisis has gotten in Ohio and how she’s witnessed her own family and friends being over prescribed opioids, which led to addiction and even death. We then got into the details of how we are all born with an endocannabinoid system in our body that’s specifically designed to receive cannabis to help the body heal. And How’s there’s 100s of different strains of cannabis that can be manufactured to treat different ailments and how millions of people in Ohio qualify for the medicine, but don’t even know it. She even got into the amazing results she’s seen in her patients being on this alternative medicine, including a child that hasn’t had any epileptic seizures for years and how an ex military patient has stopped drinking and has resolved his PTSD by being on the medicine. She even candidly discussed her concerns with the state government’s roll out of provisional licenses of medical marijuana dispensaries and answered the common health concerns associated with the use of cannabis. It’s a very insightful interview that will really educate you on this key hot topic in Ohio and I know you’re going to love it. Stay tuned!
