I am so pumped about our Transformational Thursday episode today, you guys!

I first connected with Shira over a love of Victor Frankl's work and she is really doing some amazing work of her own in the world.

Today, she's sharing such a powerful tool to experience more joy and I can't wait to share it with you.

What started off as a personal blog sharing her journey of getting stuck in emotions turned into a whole career of helping others learn how to get UnSTUCK.

S.T.U.C.K. is her acronym for how to move through emotions that can be a little sticky.  Emotions like:

  • anger
  • sadness
  • jealousy
  • comparison
  • betrayal
  • loneliness
  • embarrassment
  • anxiety
  • etc.

She's just opened the doors to her 12 week group program too called Getting UnSTUCK, which currently has just a few more spots remaining.  Is one of them yours?  Visit her website for more info here.

Shira Taylor Gura is a life coach and author of the book, Getting unSTUCK: Five Simple Steps to Emotional Well-Being. Shira helps people notice how their stuck places are blocking them from making their lives and relationships as rich and rewarding as they can be - and guides them using The S.T.U.C.K. Method she created to help them get unSTUCK.

In this episode, you'll learn:

  • the 5 steps of the S.T.U.C.K. method and how to use them to get UnSTUCK for emotional wellbeing
  • how Shira uses movement to move blocked emotions and energy out of the body and
  • why accessing the present moment is necessary for experiencing more joy!

This method is SO very similar to the framework I teach my clients when we're working on more emotional awareness.  I'm so happy to support Shira and her work as you guys know that learning to feel our emotions and interact with them is such a huge ingredient for a more joyful life!

I'll see you in a few days for another Motivational Monday episode soon!
