Business has changed, perhaps forever, due to Covid-19. Once we emerge from this crisis, how do businesses survive and thrive, re-invent themselves, and remain agile.

This webinar will share lessons on how two employee owned businesses have adapted and how this will put them on a stronger footing for the future and ensure they continue to grow.

Ed Stubbs, MD of Gripple and Director of Loadhog, will share reflections on the necessary changes this international business has implemented as a result of the impact of Covid-19. He will also reveal the preparation underway to enable operation of the business in the immediate future as the global economy is ‘un-locked’ and the longer term operational and commercial opportunities arising as the business, its employee owners and markets evolve and change.

Kirsty Barnes, EBT Co-ordinator and leadership support at Lush, will explore the operational, human and financial impact of the crisis so far on this global business operating in 48 countries worldwide. Looking to recovery and beyond, Kirsty will explain the founding principles that continue to guide the businesses decisions about the future and reveal how the business is planning to adapt to new market challenges as the world starts to emerge from lockdown.

Tony Danker will share insights from Be the Business, a group set up to support SMEs to unlock productivity gains, about how businesses are in very different shape resulting from the Covid 19 crisis. He will also talk about what it will take to move from rescue to recovery in the months ahead for individual businesses and their leaders.
