 The book of John was written by the Apostle John, who was one of the primary disciples of Christ. It was always James, John, and Peter. They were kind of on the inner circle. And so John had a real close, up close and personal inside look at the life of Jesus. And he knew him very well. And he knew his ministry very well. He knew the heart of God through Christ very well. And he also, because of the proximity of his relationship with Christ, knew many, many, if not most, of all the things that Jesus ever spoke or did during his earthly ministry. And so he's a reliable witness
