Here we are on a Friday again. Apologies for a few technical glitches - connectivity but for those watching some great freeze frames of my partner.

Tough week - tough outlook. Very hard to see anything positive on the horizon. Forecasts being adjusted as quickly as they are being announced.

As the industry prepares to go into hibernation all inward focus will be on cash and costs. More streamlining and practical sizing. Huge sympathy for anyone being displaced and the industry needs to remember and remain in contact so that one day the hand that offers a return will be firmly shaken. Something that may also be lost forever - Shaking of hands.

Globalisation or nationalism? During 'hibernation' carriers and all the supply chain must focus on legacy waste and streamlining. The chance to re-define the business model is a positive out of the crisis.

SAFETY - SECURITY - SANITISATION - SERVICE - SUSTAINABILITY = SUCCESS

Consistency is key to bring confidence back to the consumer. Clarity, Competence, Compliance, and Controls will be critical and the way we communicate and the effectiveness of our communication needs careful calibration.

Cargo will see another purple period and will need to be agile and responsive. Vaccines and the entire supply chain from flight to last mile will need a coordination and collaboration like no other within our industry.

Again, consideration for all colleagues affected and every organisation should maintain a level of CARE in supporting and helping wherever possible.
