If you aren't taking advantage of your resettlement now, imagine what it was like 13 years ago. Having both been in the Royal Navy and worked together for a while I thought it was time to sit down with John Harrison. John is a former Mine Warfare officer who left the navy in 2005. This was a time when the resettlement infrastructure was not as it is now. This honest chat highlighted two main points for me: 1. Language is key on your CV - Recruiters need to be able to understand what you can bring to the table. 2. The resources available now are so much greater than a few years ago. If you don't put yourself in a position to take advantage of them, success is unlikely Music by HookSounds.
