For this edition of BASS CANDY we have two very special guests: Hailing from Zimbabwe, boom bap beatmaker and producer 'TENTEN', and straight from Hong Kong to Brooklyn, guitar player and beatmaker 'Metic'. They are both collaborators with our host Tropico on Tenten's latest collaborative vinyl with Nigerian Singer Jazzz titled "ABSINTHE", which has drawn much praise on Bandcamp as well as music blogs internationally.
Juggling records, TENTEN played everything from originals to classic seventies grooves, followed by a jazzy, guitar driven lofi / jazzhop set from Metic.
Tropico also aired his most recent track called 'Beats 4 peace' which will be featured on the first volume of an upcoming compilation from Ohio based label, FAT HIPPY RECORDS.
