Marsha Stephanson founded Cater to Mom to support moms through the post-partum journey.
After having her first baby, Marsha noticed that she did not feel well prepared for the mental and
emotional reactions to her new role as a mother and all the physical and chemical changes that are a
part of the post-partum journey. I think many moms feel this way, I know that I did. Marsha wanted a
What to Expect Postpartum education that she did not see made available to new moms, so she started
researching. She developed Cater to Mom which provides a curated box of goodies along with
educational resources about post-partum to help moms feel supported along the journey of
motherhood.

My favorite line from her mission statement is:
“I strongly believe that every mother needs regular, on going information; mental, emotional and
spiritual support; proper rest and nourishment, and, most of all compassionate companionship and
encouragement.” – Marsha Stephanson
