I caught Bezan juggling her busy schedule between work, trainings and spiritual practices. We talked about the current restrictions in Australia compared to common sense approach in Sweden, the difficulties of juggling work, training and other responsibilities as an amateur athlete, using visualization and your mind as a training partner. At the end of the conversation I found out about her Kurdish background, which opens ground for way more serious topics, but out of respect for the recovery time of Bezan during Ramadan I left this for our next conversation.
