Part II of our Slasher Extravaganza deals with the 90s revitalization of the genre with Scream and Candyman. Joining us for the discussion of Scream and its sequels is Sky Tilley, who has been joining us regularly this month. Across the franchises, we dive into the meta themes and intertextuality of the Scream, and the racial narratives of Candyman that work to varying degrees. We also share our personal rankings for the franchises overall and the individual films for each Slasher.
