The first holiday in April brought The Buds to their first movie, the aptly named Slasher/Mystery April Fool's Day from 1986. Directed by Fred Walton and Written by Danilo Bach, the movie blends Teen Romp with a Slasher, not unlike certain aspects of other genre-blended Horror films. The Buds discuss the history of the April Fool's holiday, review the film, and talk about mixing up genres.
