Part of our new series devoted to exploring the vampire in horror cinema, in this episode we dive into a double-bill of low budget vampires from two exploitation masters: Hershell Gordon Lewis' A Taste of Blood (1967) and Stephanie Rothman's The Velvet Vampire (1971).

Joining us in this episode is writer and podcaster Heather Drain to pay tribute to these inventive, dreamy and on occasion very funny takes on the vampire myth, vampire brandy, the backdrop of counterculture and the incredible fashion of The Velvet Vampire.
