Wow, what a week it’s been! Last Monday we were looking at a perfectly normal week in the world of golf, today we’re wondering when the professional game will return. Our First Cut crew is back together via the power of the internet to break it all down. Our analysts ponder when they think pro golf will return to the masses (3:45). In non-coronavirus news, the PGL lost the support of two more elite players. Brooks Koepka and Jon Rahm have joined Rory McIlroy by disavowing the possibility of joining the upstart Premier Golf League. Could this be the final blow to the proposed league (14:06)? Speaking of Rory, we talk about how McIlroy has emerged as the PGA Tour’s “shadow commissioner" (18:37). We also get social to see how pro golfers have gotten along this weekend without any tournaments for the foreseeable future (24:00). Finally we wrap by putting on our commissioner caps and diving into where we want golf to go after this unprecedented time (29:42).
