Crystal Palace vs Brighton & Hove Albion has got to be one of the most peculiar derbies in England. Separated by almost 50 miles and over an hour’s drive, the two teams can hardly be said to be local, and it would be fair to say that those who are not deeply invested in this derby just do not get it. But for fans of the Eagles and the Seagulls, there is no bigger game than the so-called "M23 derby".
