30 July 1966 was a day that will forever be scorched into the consciousness of English football fans. A day that made household names of Bobby Moore, Bobby Charlton and Geoff Hurst. However, the youngest member of that World Cup winning team, Alan Ball, is perhaps the most intriguing character of them all. In a companion piece to issue 23 of The Football Pink magazine, host Roddy Cairns (@RoddyGCairns) and a plethora of contributors reflect on the Seven Ages of Alan Ball.

Contributors: Jack Wills, Pete Spencer, Rodney McCain, Ollie Goodwin, Ryan Saxton, Andrew Haines, James Young, David Nesbit, Dave Proudlove, Marco Jackson, Graham Hollingsworth.
