Since Uzbekistan gained independence from the Soviet Union in 1991, its national football team has failed to qualify for a single World Cup.  Success in regional competitions and at club level has given hope to the central Asian nation, but when it comes to strutting their stuff on the greatest stage of all, the team has come agonisingly close on multiple occasions without ever making the breakthrough. In this episode, host Roddy Cairns (@RoddyGCairns) is joined by James Young (@jamesyoungtv) and Matt Leslie (@Matt_Leslie96) to tell at the story of Uzbekistan - FIFA's unluckiest member.
