Episode 79: Jhye Clark and Ted Clohesy: AFL Draft prospects for 2022 - a podcast by Joc

For the first time we have 2 players on the show discussing their respective journeys to the draft. Geelong Falcons 2022 Captain Jhye Clark from Leopold/Queenscliffe Fc and Geelong Falcons Vice Captain Ted Clohesy from St Josephs Fc. Jhye was an All Australian U18 representative, won the MVP for Vic Coutry and also played in the U18 National Championship against Vic Metro. Jhye was the Best and Fairest winner for the Geelong Falcons this year. Ted was a Vic Country player and played in the U18 National Championship Grand Final and finished top 5 in the Best and Fairest at Geelong Falcons, even after an injury caused him to miss a few games. Ted also won the Coaches award and Players award for the Geelong Falcons in 2022.
During this episode we discuss their early days of getting into footy and who they credit with teaching them their basic footy skills. We get their advice for junior players and key focus areas, what their training schedules look like, a successful AFL player they admire and why, what good leadership looks like to them, myths and mistakes in training and plenty more!
