Lots of folks want to be more involved in caring for the earth, but are hesitant to do so because political parties are being associated with certain stances. Is it fair or accurate for a liberal to accuse a conservative of not caring about the environment, and is it equally fair or appropriate for conservatives to abdicate their own environmental stewardship because liberals have claimed it as their own political platform?
