Joe Fernandez is a serial entrepreneur and the co-founder of Klout and, more recently, Joymode. Joymode lends you everything you need to have the experiences you want - from everyday activities to unforgettable moments. Their slogan is “Do More, Own Less” and, since their launch in 2015, they have been responsible for providing countless experiences to their members in Los Angeles, with plans to expand to other major cities soon.

Joe grew up in Las Vegas and went to the University of Miami for Computer Science, but didn’t end up graduating although he had more units than what was required (tune in to hear why!). After school, he worked various jobs but quickly found himself in a dark place following the “Dotcom Boom” and eventually the housing market crash. During that time, he built and sold Klout, which gave users a 1:1 score of how influential they were on social media and worked with massive brands to promote their products - pre-influencer days!

In this episode, Pat & Posh hang out with Joe to hear about his upbringing, the journey of building Klout and Joymode, the difficult challenges he’s faced along the way, and the bet he and his company are making on the future of ownership.
