Globetrottin' ADs - S2E11 - Jo Ito & the IIAAA - a podcast by Globetrottin ADs
from 2021-01-04T07:00
In the first episode of 2021 Nick and Matt welcome Jo Ito who is the AD at the Bush School in Seattle Washington. Jo is one of the rare people to start as an International School AD and then move to the United States.
After Jo shares his story the guys talk about; work life balance, differences between international and US schools and the F.I.T. principal (frequency , intensity, training)
When the short ad break is over the guys go down memory lane to the start of the first IIAAA courses that were offered at the 2014 CEESA Conference in Vienna Austria. The IIAAA was the predecessor of the NIAAA 900 level courses and at that conference the first courses were delivered to over 50 people from around the world.
Closing out the episode has Jo revolve how little he knows about the Kraken and how the Bundesliga remains close to his heart despite the success of the Sounders.
